From the first spark of curiosity to an advanced diploma and a working studio: JDMIS covers design, fabrication, gemmology, digital production and the business of jewellery — under one roof at the National Design Centre.
Our story
- 2007
JDMIS founded by Tanja Sadow (GIA Graduate Gemologist, MSc) to give Singapore a dedicated jewellery school.
- 2010s
Programme range grows to span gemmology, classical design, metalsmithing, fashion jewellery and CAD.
- 2020
Blended learning launches — classroom quality online, with toolkits shipped worldwide.
- 2023
Atelier Sessions begin: business webinars for jewellers (branding, pricing, AI, regulation).
- 2024–25
17,000th student trained; 4.8★ Google rating; MDIS partnership expands pathways.
- 2026
Next-generation platform: AI course consultant, quiz funnels, and this Next.js redesign.
